A workshop which is tailored to the skill you would like to focus on. As great introduction to both weaving and spinning we will give you the basic skills to then further your interest in either one or both modalities. You will learn about fibre, how to prepare for spinning, the spinning process & then start to experiment with one of our Saori Looms for a two shaft weaving style which highlights texture, colour and a free style of expression. The fabric woven can then be used for a project or garment of your choice such as a Bozar Bag or pouch. We will also introduce you to a few finishing techniques for the warp ends of the fabric
If you have a rigid heddle or table top loom at home & would like to use, you are more than welcome to bring along.
